Reason for fundraising:
With a love for the outdoors, Wellingtonians depend on the WFA’s Rescue squad being there should they ever get in to trouble. The squad work closely with Police Search and Rescue and is used for any situation where patient recovery requires four wheel driving, rope or winching techniques.
The fundraising mission:
On 2nd April, Rob and Matt aim to run 70k - that's right SEVENTY kilometers - with over 1500m of ascent across the Rimutaka ranges and back around Wellington's south coast to raise money for WFA's Rescue squad.
